According to the announcement from the Shanghai Municipal Communications Administration, the Shanghai Municipal Communications Administration has decided to organize a network and data security inspection for the telecommunications and internet industry in Shanghai for the year 2025. The inspection targets include basic telecommunications enterprises, internet companies, domain name registration service agencies, and others that provide public internet network information services. The focus will be on inspecting important network units and information systems that carry significant data within relevant network operation units, including but not limited to critical information infrastructure, communication network infrastructure, public cloud service platforms, domain service systems, industrial internet platforms, identification resolution systems, and vehicle networking platforms and applications. The inspected enterprises are required to implement the "Cybersecurity Law," "Data Security Law," "Personal Information Protection Law," "Regulations on the Management of Network Data Security," "Management Measures for the Protection of Communication Network Security," "Management Measures for Data Security in the Field of Industry and Information Technology," and "Regulations on the Protection of Personal Information of Telecommunications and Internet Users," establish and improve their own network data security management systems and protection mechanisms, conduct training on laws, regulations, and rules, and strengthen their daily network and data security management and protection
