The British newspaper The Times reported, citing industry sources, that American electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla (TSLA.US) was forced to offer discounts of up to 40% to UK car rental companies due to the company's lack of storage space for vehicles in the UK, necessitating the transfer of more vehicles to digest inventory.
