In a letter to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, this new referral involves a third property located in Massachusetts. Earlier this month, Cook was accused of fraudulently listing properties in Michigan and Georgia as her "primary residence" when obtaining a mortgage in 2021, a move that typically ensures more favorable loan terms. The latest referral states that Cook obtained a mortgage for a condominium in Cambridge, Massachusetts, claiming the property was a second home. Pulte noted that eight months later, Cook claimed to have received rental income of $15,000 to $50,000, referring to it as an investment property. (Bloomberg)
