Bank of America (BAC.US) announced on Friday that it has appointed Dean Athanasia and Jim DeMare as co-presidents, succeeding Brian Moynihan, who serves as chairman and CEO and has held the presidency and two other positions since 2010.
Moynihan stated that in their new roles as co-presidents, Dean and Jim will work together to drive a broad strategic effort, including a company-wide initiative focused on increasing market share and returns, and continuing to expand AI-based tools and innovative services for clients
