According to data released on the official website of the National Healthcare Security Administration, in terms of revenue from the basic medical insurance pooling fund, the revenue from the employee basic medical insurance pooling fund was 1,195.462 billion yuan, and the revenue from the urban and rural resident basic medical insurance pooling fund was 685.532 billion yuan. From January to August 2025, the expenditure of the employee basic medical insurance pooling fund was 881.188 billion yuan, of which the expenditure for maternity insurance fund benefits was 89.039 billion yuan; the expenditure of the urban and rural resident basic medical insurance pooling fund was 662.032 billion yuan
