According to foreign media reports, Google, a subsidiary of Alphabet (GOOGL.US), and NBCUniversal, a subsidiary of Comcast (CMCSA.US), have reached a multi-year agreement to ensure that NBC programs continue to be broadcast on YouTube TV.

According to statements from both companies, YouTube TV will carry the entire network portfolio of NBCUniversal, including NBC and CNBC. YouTube will provide NBCUniversal's Peacock streaming service through its Primetime Channels. The agreement also includes a multi-year extension for Peacock to remain on Google's Android platform.

According to data from market analysis company Nielsen, YouTube has the largest market share in television viewing in the United States, leading streaming competitors such as Netflix (NFLX.US) and traditional media like Disney (DIS.US)
