中国外贸含新量飙升 重庆新能源汽车出口值暴增 11 倍

A foreign trade customs officer with over ten years of experience remarked, "Five years ago, we only dealt with ordinary goods, but now at least two out of every ten orders are for new energy vehicles!" The industrial chain of new energy vehicles is indeed extending upward from the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. Three numbers witness the explosive power of "Chongqing vehicles going overseas": In 2024, the export value of Chongqing's new energy vehicles has increased by more than 11 times compared to the first year of the 14th Five-Year Plan; the number of countries and regions they are exported to has reached 115, doubling from 2021; and the export share of domestic brands exceeds 90%! The export of Chongqing's new energy vehicles is a microcosm of the high-quality development of China's foreign trade over the past five years, with the "new" content in China's foreign trade increasing year by year. In terms of product structure, the export performance of new products such as new energy vehicles and lithium batteries is outstanding, and the export share of technology-intensive and higher value-added products continues to rise. Meanwhile, with the deepening of the national regional coordinated development strategy, several distinctive new growth points in foreign trade have emerged in inland areas such as the central and western regions, enhancing the security and stability of the industrial chain
