ByteDance has launched at least 20 short story mini-programs within the Douyin app, including Lingyun Stories, Taoyao Stories, and Tianmang Stories, operated by Juyuan Engine. This is not ByteDance's first foray into a scaled matrix in the content field; it has previously built a multi-product system in the short drama and novel sectors.
