New news has emerged regarding the changes in the regulatory oversight of insurance institutions. Recently, the official website of the Financial Regulatory Administration announced the list of 238 insurance institution legal entities as of June 30, 2025, detailing the regulatory responsibility units for these legal entities. Compared to the end of 2024, there has been a significant adjustment in the regulatory responsibility units for insurance institutions. It is understood that relevant insurance institutions have received notifications regarding the adjustment of regulatory responsibility units in the first half of this year. The overall situation after the adjustment is that the regulatory authority for insurance group institutions remains the Financial Regulatory Administration, while the regulatory authority for other property insurance, reinsurance, life insurance, and insurance asset management institutions has been delegated to the regulatory bureaus in their registered locations, except for a few institutions. In response to this adjustment, the Financial Regulatory Administration convened a special meeting with local regulatory bureaus.
