The court hearing documents released on Friday revealed that Judge Leonie Brinkema of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia has scheduled the latest antitrust trial related to Alphabet (GOOG.US) and its advertising policies for September 22.

The judge ruled that the investigation found Google used its dominant position in the technology sector to create a monopoly in the online advertising market, violating U.S. antitrust rules.

Brinkema stated in the court documents that for over a decade, Google has linked its publisher ad servers and ad exchange platforms through contractual policies and technological integration, allowing the company to establish and maintain its monopoly power in both markets
