After bringing popularity to LABUBU and other IP products, POP MART (09992.HK) recently opened its second global store for its independent jewelry brand popop in Beijing on the 14th. Mainland media reported that its three major "star" products LABUBU, Hirono, and MOLLY have been highly sought after, with some products already sold out, especially the LABUBU bracelets which are nearly sold out, and the packaging boxes were once in short supply.
The report mentioned that popop products are priced between 319 and 2,699 yuan (RMB), with the most expensive being a necklace made of pure gold and natural pearls, priced at 19,800 yuan. Additionally, there is a bracelet priced at 10,800 yuan. Consumers have shown a high acceptance of the product prices, with female customers accounting for over 80%. The Beijing store reportedly recorded over 10 transactions in just one hour, with an average spending of over 400 yuan.
According to the report, the inventory at the newly opened Beijing store is currently sufficient, but the three popular series, including LABUBU, Hirono, and MOLLY, have already experienced stock shortages. For example, LABUBU has mainly launched bracelets and necklaces in the store, with the LABUBU logo placed in the center as decoration. Among them, the more neutral LABUBU bracelet is about to sell out.
