The U.S. government will invest $8.9 billion in the company's equity.
The U.S. government will subscribe to 433.3 million shares of Intel stock at $20.47 per share.
Of this, $5.7 billion will be funded through the CHIPS Act, and $3.2 billion will be funded through the Secure Enclave Program.
The U.S. government will enjoy an additional 5% (company) guarantee, which will be enforceable under certain conditions.
