U.S. chip stocks collectively strengthened at the beginning of trading, with AMD rising over 6% to reach a historic high, Intel increasing nearly 6% after earnings, Micron Tech rising over 3%, Broadcom up over 2%, Taiwan Semiconductor increasing nearly 2%, and NVIDIA rising 1.5%
