SenseTime-W (00020.HK) and the Saudi National Sovereign Fund PIF have established a joint venture, SenseTime MEA, which announced a cooperation agreement with King Saud University in Saudi Arabia. The two parties will jointly create a local artificial intelligence innovation center in Saudi Arabia, exploring AI application scenarios across multiple industries, including education and research. At the same time, SenseTime Saudi Arabia is also building computing power infrastructure locally, which will provide the necessary computing resources for the innovation center using Chinese-manufactured chips and support the development of technology and productivity in local education, cultural tourism, smart cities, healthcare, and energy sectors.

This cooperation will encompass teaching, research, and talent cultivation, introducing intelligent course design, AI-assisted teaching, and post-class analysis into daily education, while providing students and researchers with practical project opportunities closely aligned with industry needs.

SenseTime Saudi Arabia is also building local computing power infrastructure using domestically produced Chinese chips. Computing power is undoubtedly a key production factor in the digital economy era. By establishing a local intelligent computing center, it can further enhance efficiency and response speed, reduce costs and energy consumption, promote the development of the local industrial ecosystem and research, and provide safe and efficient AI services. SenseTime Saudi Arabia, which has been deeply rooted in the Middle East for a long time, will use this as a new strong driving force to further empower the digital transformation and development of various local industries.

The CEO of SenseTime Saudi Arabia, Huang Jigong, stated that the joint artificial intelligence innovation center is a platform for Saudi Arabia's transformation and development, which will promote the conversion of research in more industry fields into fruitful results.
